🧅 🔥New Bosses, New Wars, Hell Week



Survived 5+ months in this madhouse. Overworked? Overperformed? Improved? Got used? Obviously. But last week? A bloodbath. CEO drops two projects on two new hires and puts me in a team: 1. 국장: 20-year industry veteran, dad energy, life stories dispenser. 2. 실장: 15 years at a major 대기업, Teacher vibes with ego the size of Namsan Tower
 *** Spoiler: One was a mentor, the other more of an obstacle…

 국장: The Human Podcast 🎙️ * Pros: Actually knows his stuff. Explains intcricate details of the work, pretty comfortable to work with. My design skills leveled up just trying to keep up with his demands. * Cons: Every task comes with a 2-hour TED Talk on “life stories.” * Result: Work quality ↑ Earliest clock-out? 9:30 PM ↓

 실장: New Office “Villain” * Design Skills: Acceptable? Lackign attention to details tho * Work Ethic: Delegates like a CEO, delivers like an intern. Boss asked for her work—she tried to dump it on the busy juniors. Gives off Nagging teacher vibes and apparently sh*t-talks everyone— waiting for my turn. 

 Weakly Result: * Project 1: Unfinished, fu**** up design, planning, whole presentation, total disaster. Boss furious
 * Project 2: Due Sunday. No one wants to work on the weekends. Yet 실장 tried to interrupt junior designers ongoing tasks giving them her work. Left office saying that she is done with her work, after checking it me, 과장 and 국자 had to cleanup her design past midnight on Friday.
 * Friday Night: Left office at 1 AM, questioning every life choice that led me here. Exhausted grabbed drink with colleagues
and ended up talking until 6AM Next week, I’m out of office by 6 PM… hopefully ✌️ Let's see how the drama will unfold, definetely will share at the end of the next week. Keep tuned! Hope you'll have great week!
