1️⃣ An interview with the Director
2️⃣ An interview with the CEO
Let me break down the questions below:
1. First Interview with the Director
The Director's questions were quite structured, and this round really tested my understanding of the company, my goals, and how I fit into the role. And here are the questions I was asked:
1️⃣ “What’s your major? Why did you choose it?”
2️⃣ “Why did you apply for this position when it’s not directly related to your major?”
3️⃣ “What do you know about our company?”
4️⃣ “Is there any project you want to work on? Can you imagine yourself working here?”
5️⃣ “What are your strengths and weaknesses?”
6️⃣ “Do you have any questions for us?”
2. Second Interview with the CEO
This round had a completely different vibe; it felt more like a personality test than a technical interview. The CEO wanted to get to know me as a person, not just as a candidate. Here are the questions:
1️⃣ “How’s life in Korea?”
2️⃣ “What are your strengths and weaknesses?” (Yep, this came up again.)
3️⃣ “Is there any specific job task you’d like to focus on?”
My Tips:
✨ Preparation matters: Know the company, understand the role, and anticipate questions about your background.
✨ Transferable skills: Even if your major isn’t directly related, highlight the skills and experiences that make you a strong candidate.
✨ Be yourself in personality-based interviews: The interviewer wanted to see if I’d be a good cultural and personality fit.
