I want to give on the job search

I feel so unlucky in the job search because I know I am a diligent and responsible person, always try to do my work good but I worked at two places and couldn’t pass the probation period. At the first place I was illegally fired, at the second place I was fired not because of my working ability and performance but because Korean colleagues didn’t like and bullied me (and they called it 의사소통문제). For the last month I was on several interviews and I have no idea what some companies are looking for because I was invited to the job interview again right after having a job interview with them. What are they thinking? I feel so lost and the whole life is like a joke. I graduated from good unis, have a good CV, who do you need?ㅠㅠ

Totally feel you! It might sound bold, but throughout my life, I’ve built knowledge, habits, professional skills, and language abilities beyond what I’ve seen in many local colleagues. Koreans often struggle to evaluate foreigners properly, and that’s a fact! You can’t just put a foreigner in a role and expect them to perform exactly like a local from day one. We bring unique strengths, but we need time to build confidence and fully understand the company

Hang in there—you’re doing your best, and that will bring results! I totally get where you’re coming from. It took me a while to land a job too (not even sure about this one...), and the whole job search felt like mental torture at times. It always makes me wonder what some Koreans CEOs, recruiters etc are thinking... "like, how can you not see that I’d be incredible in this position?!" Maybe try to reevaluate what you bring to the table? Keep pushing forward—you’ve got this! 💪
